Atlanta's Call of Duty franchise spot went to Atlanta Esports Ventures, a joint venture owned by Cox Enterprises and Province, Inc. The same ownership group owns the Atlanta Reign in the Overwatch League.
One of Call of Duty's most popular organizations, FaZe Clan, also partnered with AEV to create the Atlanta FaZe. The team's roster will be one of the youngest in the entire league, but there's no shortage of talent.
Chicago
After losing out on a bid to buy back OpTic Gaming, Hector 'H3CZ' Rodriguez became the co-CEO of NRG, which purchased the Chicago CoD League spot.

Team Envy, one of the most respectable and storied organizations in Call of Duty esports history, owns the Dallas spot. Envy also owns the city's Overwatch League counterpart, the Fuel, who have struggled in the first two seasons of OWL.
In a week-long series of announcements, Envy revealed the team's inaugural roster—which features two former world champions—and the team's name, the Dallas Empire.

Andbox owns the New York CoD franchise, which became one of the first to announce personnel moves with the signing of head coach John 'Revan' Boble and data analyst JP Krez.
The New York Subliners' roster includes some of the most popular players in Call of Duty and multiple former teammates.
Paris
The Paris franchise owner, c0ntact Gaming, is owned by Drew McCourt, the son of Frank McCourt, who owns French soccer club Olympique de Marseille and used to own the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Adobe video production suite. Paris was one of the first teams to reveal its starting lineup, but it hasn't announced any team branding yet.
Seattle
The Seattle franchise, which is owned by Canadian esports organization Luminosity, may have the most stacked roster of any team in the league.
With two former world champions, including the only three-time champion Damon 'Karma' Barlow, Seattle will likely be one of the best teams in the league in 2020.
Toronto Ultra
Canada's only franchise, the Toronto Ultra, announced their team name and roster during the launch night of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
The Toronto franchise is owned by OverActive Media, the parent company of esports organization Splyce. Splyce has a strong history in CoD, which includes a CWL Championship grand finals appearance.

Andbox, the parent company of the Overwatch League's New York Excelsior and Call of Duty League's New York Subliners, have entered VALORANT with the signing of two ex-Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players and two coaches, the organization announced on Thursday.
The group has signed retired Counter-Strike players Bradley 'ANDROID' Fodor and Jaccob 'yay' Whiteaker and coaches Matt 'Warden' Dickens and Gordan 'g0g1' Prošić. Warden will serve as the head coach of the team, while g0g1 will be the assistant coach.

Call Of Duty Owner Vehicle
'This marks a huge milestone as we are creating the first VALORANT team that will represent New York on the world stage,' Andbox co-founder and chief product officer Rohit Gupta said in a statement. 'It will also be the first time that one of our professional esports teams will compete using the Andbox name. We're proud to be the organization that gave New Yorkers professional esports teams that they could call their own in the New York Excelsior and New York Subliners, and we're excited for what's to come as we expand into this new game.'

Prior to COVID-19 hitting the U.S., Andbox hosted local New York events in non-Activision Blizzard titles, such as Super Smash Bros. and Fortnite. Sterling.VC, the venture capital investment arm of New York Mets owners the Wilpon family, established Andbox in June 2019 after buying into the Overwatch League nearly two years earlier. One of the founding teams of that league, the New York Excelsior have been highly competitive across all three seasons. In early 2019, Sterling.VC also purchased New York regional rights in the Call of Duty League and established the Subliners.
